Director of the Teacher Training, Research and Educational Innovation Institute (IFIIE) which belongs to the Ministry of Education.

As a result of the restructuring of the Ministry, the CIDE has added to its former scope of competence the training of teaching staff, where the coordination of teacher training syllabi (from the CIDE and through cooperating entities) and the coordination of the competences of the Ministry related to initial training, including the current coordination of the implementation of the Master Programme in Secondary Education, are worthy of mention.

Eduardo Coba is director of the Centre for Educational Documentation and Research (CIDE) which belongs to the Ministry of Education, and has also been general coordinator of the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA), Vice-secretary of Studies of the Council of University Coordination (Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport), General Assistant Sub-director at the Office for the Substitutive Social Service for Conscientious Objectors, in the General Directorate of the Conscientious Objection of the Ministry of Justice, and Chief of the Programming Service of the General Directorate of Universities in the Madrid Autonomous Community.
